ALL WHITE DOCUMENT – LEARN HOW TO MAKE INVOICE – BELAJAR BUAT INVOIS
Ahaha.. Today, i learn how to make an invoice easily. Ok, sebab ape tibe2 nak buat invois nih? Coz Webd Biz new year resolution is to have a proper documentation as we handle more customer and billing companies more than before. For our first company, admax ads company and one company for web design. Plus, we need to pay all the zakat, epf or whatsoever in running our business this year. So, an invoice is a good start for me to do a proper documentation on a white paper.
Hmm.. actually it is pretty simple. Invoice is generated to bill somebody/ company / anybody. Meaning actually you have a service and if you want anybody to pay for your service, you must have an invoice sent to the customer that state all the total cost that they should pay to you.
Below are the description of each item in the invoice:
“INVOICE”
Your very first order of business is to ensure the recipient knows exactly what kind of document they are looking at. Most people do this by slapping the word “INVOICE” at the top of the document in a font so large it simply cannot be overlooked.
Date & Invoice Number
Next, include the date and a unique invoice number. The date lets you and the client know exactly when the invoice was sent — a handy reference if your payment is delayed. A unique invoice number allows you to specifically reference the document in your records, and in communications with your client.
Microsoft Word has an autotext feature that lets you place a date field in a document. This date field is then updated with today’s date each time the document is opened. Make sure you do not include this autotext field in any invoices that are digitally transfered (e-mail, etc…) to a client. It doesn’t matter that your invoice is six weeks old if the accounting department sees today’s date every time they look at the file.
The Sender
Include your (or your company’s) name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, and fax number. Should problems arise, there should be no question about how to get in touch with you.
The Recipient
Include the name and address of the person or organization who is being billed. You may also include telephone and e-mail contact information here.
Job Description
Include a short job description in each invoice – a blanket statement describing the assignment encompassed by the invoice’s line items. The accounting department may not be familiar with “web development services”, “php programming”, and “graphic design”, but a short description that reads “Design and develop web site for Acme Company’s Annual Campaign” should answer any of their questions.
Line Items
Now for the meat and potatoes. List each separate item for which the client is being billed. A typical invoice contains a quantity, description, unit price, and line total on each line. The line total is the unit price multiplied by the quantity.
Totals
Finally, list the total amount due – the sum of the totals of each line. If you are including tax in this total, you should also include a separate box indicating how much tax is being charged.

Update about me:
hi2.. currently tengah settlekan beberapa masalah dalam pembangunan laman web sedia ada. Concentrating on kdi, coz it has a very serious problem of very high bandwidth per day which is 2 gigabyte per day! oh god. Internet user are sucking all info from kdi 2 gig per day! The solution is, i have removed some javascript that contribute to this high bandwidth. About all graphic? Kdi editors need to minimise using picture in each post and frequently using flickr account.
With more than 4600 visitor per day now (latest stats on jan 09), we cannot add anymore visitor after this and we will concentrating on working with other companies in maximising the profit of kdi. We will have 2 separate group which will handle marketing and advertising. Hopefully everything will be fine on Feb 2009. This month, we will receive nearly 5 million hits and we must prepare to upgrade again for the second time of our server capability. Uh! That needs a lot of money!
One big plan are actually already in my mind which will reconstruct everything including our source of income. Waiting for next kdi meeting. Hurm.. Sorry for any customer for Webd Biz Solution that want to build new website as we are not receiving any order for now.

Update pasal RMreview? Hurm.. Trafik visitor memang lebih menggalakkan dari kdi masa bulan pertama nih. Cuma masalahnya xcukup masa nak update. Hope RMR editor rajin2 lah wat post..kui2.. memang nampak potensi lagi besar. Harap dapat setanding ngan web kdi ni. Just nak wat slow2.. Maintain..hu2.
